Spiritual Junkfood
is a concoction of recipes formulated by legalists, occultists,
and New Agers, who seek to manipulate the forces of darkness to
acquire their heart's desires. In turn, they carefully build a
constituency (those who vote with their $$dollars$$)
made up of the gullible and greedy who seek the same.
The most insidious, evil, and shameless of these recipes are those which have been contrived by believers. Their carefully crafted confections are made up of selected scriptures which have been twisted, tortured, and twirled around their little tongues of fire to excite, inflame, and manipulate the passions of the immature in Christ.
These are those teach not from the whole realm of God's Word, but from a bible of their own making. They do so because their perception of reality is a distorted one. God has the following to say about these:
Here is a list of some of their more tasty spiritual junkfood recipes concocted in the cauldren of New Age and Human Potential Movement techniques.

Christ warns us to guard our hearts against the likes of the above doctrines. Doctrines which would place a believers focus upon blessings and not the Blessor are satanic, demonic, and highly dangerous.
These doctrines are often given credence, not just because they are interlaced with scripture, but because the proponents and purveyors of these teachings are such great personalities. They smile, joke, and humor us. They are great entertainers. They speak with conviction and tell us how much they love God and us. Yet, these are not valid reasons that we should believe them. Con artists for centuries have flattered the vain, stroked the pompous, and pampered the egoist.
With her many persuasions she entices him; with her flattering lips she seduces him. Suddenly he follows her, as an ox goes to the slaughter. Proverbs 7:22
All of this is done in order to gain the confidence of the con man's mark. The Charismatic Occultists have become masters of these techniques. And because of their like, the Church is rapidly falling away from grace.
Causing disunity or safeguarding the purity of God's Word
Now there are those who say that we who expose teachers of false doctrines as being divisive. We are accused of acts of disunity in the body. Like well dressed criminal defense lawyers, the supporters of the personal and charismatic (the spiritual con men) go about distracting others from the issue. The issue, STUPID, is heretical doctrines. Period!
The fact is that truth is highly divisive to lies, falsehoods, and half- truths. Light runs out the darkness. We are commanded to expose heresy, or anything contrary to sound doctrine. Remember when the Apostle Paul braced the Apostle Peter for his hypocrisy (Galatians 2:11-21). Or, when Christ Jesus scolded Peter as well for trying to get Him to turn from the path God set for Him (Matthew 16:22-23). Can you imagine accusing these of causing division in the church? What they did was to maintain its PURITY and HOLINESS? Christ chased out the money changers from God's temple for this very reason. We must chase out the spiritual con men and make no apologies for it.
Followers of the above doctrines are hooked on their intoxicating promises of health, wealth, and godhood. Yet these doctrines, fermentated by a scandolous group of teachers, are nothing more than repackaged old occultic practices. But to suggest that these are addicted is to find onesself being attacked. These are like children whose candy is being taken away. They will holler, scream, and cry. Of course, candy destroys one's appetite for healthy food.
If anyone thinks he is something (spiritual) when he is nothing (carnal), he deceives himself, Galatians 6:3.
