I agree with R.B. Thieme that America is losing its PIVOT. And what is a pivot? A pivot is the minimum number of spiritual believers within a nation necessary to retain its client nation status.

Client nation status is a privilege God gives a believing nation for the dissemination of His Word. In turn, God heaps His blessings upon that nation. Israel was such a nation 2000 years ago. But she lost this status when her pivot shrunk so low, that God could no longer bless her. Instead, He instituted the greatest of disciplines-the last of five disciplines. He removed her client nation status and had her overthrow and enslaved to a foreign nation.

Colonel Thieme believers a nation needs somewhere between 5 - 10% of its believer population to be spiritual, or occupied with the Lord Jesus Christ. If a nation can maintain this minimum, God blesses the nation according to His Word. But likewise, if it falls short, under 5%, God will punish that nation with the hope that it will confess it sins, so that God might heal the land.

Therefore, we ask the question again. Is America losing her client nation status? Let there be no doubt, America has been strong in proclaiming God's Word. And because of this, America has been greatly blessed. It has been the envy of the world. But is this coming to an end?

America in the balance?

Colonel Thieme believes our pivot is shrinking steadily. If so, American has been and will continue to come under one of five disciplinary stages. Surely, this nation today has lost some of its former glory. We are no longer the moral nation we were a century ago. Why? Because the believer is to be the salt of the earth. Apparantly, there is not enough salt to go around.

But God's Word is the same yesterday, today and forever. Let us read again these words.

Perhaps there is no greater service and duty a believer can do for his country than to focus on Christ and live in the Sphere of Faith. Let's increase our pivot and change the balance for America's survival.
