www.ohm-inc.org There has been much talk and speculation about the New Millennium. Is this the end of the world? Is this the beginning of a spiritual revival or renewal. Or is this much to do about nothing? Mankind no doubt is heading into a fascinating time. Technology is projecting us at lightning speed to places we could not have imagined just 10 years ago. Computers, the internet, sound, and pictures will bombard us with more information than our small minds can accommodate. This new information system will vie for our time and "affection". It will drastically effect our way of living like never before. And who knows what awaits us 10 years from now? In the same time frame, we are having dialogue about life beyond our planet, life beyond our solar system, and life beyond the physical realm into the supernatural and the existence of angels and demons. It is not that such talk is new, but today with technology as advanced as it is, we are starting to give serious attention to these things. Hollywood has created films with such sophistication that we can now see and experience imaginings that before we had only talked about. Now it is there to be seen on the Big Screen, on our VCR's and DVD players, and of course on the Internet with incredible realism. We are indeed coming upon a new era in the history of mankind. A time many will claim anything is possible. It will be a time of great discovery, expansion of knowledge, and rapid acceleration into the unknown. And with the Internet, mankind will interact with his fellow man to a degree never possible before. His neighbor will now not only be next door but across the oceans. This is good and this is bad depending upon your mind set. It is an occasion for excitement and but for caution as well. It will be a time the prudent must keep his head or he will be quickly taken out with the tide of all is possible unto man psychology. One need only do a quick search of what is available upon the internet. The results yield up to the minute news, entertainment and educational and religious sites, chat lines, International introductions, and a retail market exploding. On the darker side, there is gambling, voyeurism, and pornography just a click away. Whatever you want to know or don't what to know is out there. The danger of course is
that man will move further and further away from his dependency
and worship of the living God and cling more and more to man,
his technology and his idols. People will think, "How can
God top this?" Such a course will be fertile ground for
the Anti-Christ. Therefore, I think it imperative we understand
true spirituality and reality as opposed to the false.
