The Intimate Counsel of
God is a 80 page, illustrated booklet to define the Christian
way of thinking based upon a belief system founded upon the Rock
of the Christian Faith, the Lord Jesus Christ. Does not the Word
say, "We have the mind of Christ," 1 Cor. 2:16. Yet,
Paul refers to those who live by faith, or live within the Sphere
of Faith.
It is within the Sphere of Faith that we are enabled to perceive the mind of Christ. The natural mind, no matter how high its IQ, is not capable of receiving spiritual things, Is. 55:9; 2 Cor. 2:14. It is only as we are filled, controlled, or influenced by the Holy Spirit that we can receive God's Wisdom and thereby grow spiritually.
Therefore, from within the Sphere of Faith, we grow by God's Word and His Word alone has spiritual significance or "profitability," John 6:63. Therefore, the profitable Word I call God's Intimate Counsel, which is true food. And by this Intimate Counsel, or spiritual nutrition, our soul profits, our thinking matures, our inner man is built unto the likeness of Christ. And eventually, if we are consistent and steadfast, we fulfill the purpose for our creation, the glorification of God and the receiving of great blessings upon reaching spiritual maturity.
